Key Responsibilities
The appointed Lead Structured Cabling Engineer will take full ownership of structured cabling projects from conception through to delivery. Daily and project-based responsibilities will include:
Design & Installation Leadership
- Directing the complete lifecycle of structured cabling projects — encompassing system design, physical installation, testing protocols, and formal commissioning activities
- Producing comprehensive cabling layout drawings, pathway and containment designs, rack elevation plans, and detailed labelling standards for all project installations
- Ensuring that every installation is carried out in full compliance with relevant industry standards and applicable local building regulations
Fault Finding & Troubleshooting
- Taking the lead on diagnosing and resolving complex network cabling faults and infrastructure issues across enterprise-level environments

Documentation & Asset Management
